A Search For Home is a continuous project, researching the notion of home.
Where does one belong, when feeling dispersed by several places after years on the go and can home in fact be anywhere? What are the dreams and nostalgias linked to each different place one inhabits and is it really important to have a space to be oneself; a room with a bed and ones belongings in order to feel at home?
In the quest of answering these questions I decided to document each place available for me to consider my home, either because I bought or rented it or it was offered to me temporarily. By mapping each one out using photography, these places will be available for me to inhabit again at any time I should desire, should nostalgia and longing take over.
By using the photomontage as form of documentation each space becomes fragmented like a distorted memory of somewhere I called my home, while longing to be in another.
